The festival

annual

A little box. A whole lot of sound.

The Maryland Cigar Box Guitar Festival exists to inspire, engage and educate people of all ages through instrument building and sound experimentation — alongside a day of live entertainment.

It's where creativity, music and innovation meet: a hands-on place to explore sound, discover talents you didn't know you had, and connect with others through music.

03
Explore sound
Built around instrument building and sound experimentation — curiosity is the only prerequisite.
04
A day together
Music, makers and neighbours of all ages in one room, with food on site and plenty of parking.
